I live in beautiful southern Oregon. I am a retired educator with great- grandchildren. We lived off-the-grid for 35 yrs and pretty much built it all with our own hands. Now we're enjoying different vehicles that don't do well in the mud & snow. Just got a 79 Jag/Chevy Interjag, or so I'm told. It is a 305 V8 with a 350 Turbo tranny. GREAT tranny, had one. This Jag has been sittin' around awhile! So far I've done tires, alignment, wiper blades, and a trip to the key man so I could get into the trunk. May see him again!
We are discovering issues as we go because it is my daily driver. Right now I need a better wiper motor. Think that might a chronic problem since I got several old receipts for such with the car. Mostly we are under the hood. Have an appointment at the speedometer shop for the speedo & cruise that don't work. The engine has a lot of poorly routed old rubber and needs a tune-up. My mechanic says the plug wires are a hodge podge. He did a quick fix of hoses/etc with holes and bad placements last week. He will work on it again this week.
