I’m James, moved from the UK to Tennessee, USA in 2020 and found an old S-Type being sold for parts. As I was fixing her up for my daily driver I fell in love.
Started looking for a newer car and kept coming back to Jaguars. Found this XJL in need of a little love but at a good price and thought why not.
The S-Type is sound but has very brittle interior plastics that are challenging to replace or correct. The XJL has had updated cooling from Jaguar but lm planning on switching to metal components. It also has a bad case of the dashboard shrinking from the hot Florida sun and I’ll need to address that.
