Default Enough Lurking Around

Well I bought a 2003 S type 3.0 a couple of months ago and have been utilizing the knowledge base provided by this site ever since. I finally decided it was time to stop lurking around and join the community. Thanks to everyone who posts technical information here. Every question I have had I have found through searching this forum.

So far I have replaced the left fog light, the coolant expansion tank, the upper radiator hose, thermostat, 2 missing lug nuts, wheel caps and missing leaper.

Things I still have to tackle are fixing the visors mirror cover and changing the spark plugs (the vehicle has 117,000 miles and who knows if they were changed).

Any advice of things to watch out for as a new Jag owner would be nice. This is my first Jag and so far I Love it. Luckily I expect minor issues with an older car like this and don't mind doing the maintenance myself.

Welcome to the forum aquack4,

Lurking is completely forgiven when you can make the comment 'Every question I have had I have found through searching this forum'.

No need for links as you must know your way round here well enough by now. Check the S-Type section 'HOW TO' thread for advice and information and post tech questions there for anything you can't find.

Enjoy the S-Type and the forum.

Graham

Default Thank you for the warm welcome.

Thank you everyone for the warm welcome. Through all my research on this forum I have always found everyone to be very courteous and helpful in their responses to other members. Something you don't come across in every online community.

Thank you Jim for upgrading my status so I can utilize everything there is to offer.

I hope to see everyone around the boards.
