Default Evening All....New to Jaguar so pics inside. What do you think?

Hi,
I've recently purchased a 2003 X Type sport with 70K on the clock, A 2.5 V6 manual with cranberry n black interior. Its my first Jag and all I can say is wow what a car, I love it. Ive had it for about 2 months I'm getting about 22 - 25 mpg. I do like a spirited drive when conditions allow. Lead foot lol

I'm really looking forward to getting involved with the forum and seeing what you guys n gals have been up to. what sort of mods can and have been done......
So far calipers have been painted and one or two badges have been removed then replaced with others

Welcome to the forum Steve,

Congratulations on the X-Type. Looks great with the contrasting interior.

Plenty of space to enjoy spirited driving in Northumberland provided you avoid the speed cameras on the A1!

Follow this link X-Type - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the X-Type section for help and advice.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User ID button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Hi Steve & welcome aboard, good to have you here with us

Nice intro and some good pics of a lovely car. I had the 2.5 V5 Sport myself some years ago, the AWD is awesome.

Yours looks great too.........one piece of advice.
You might want to upgrade the side repeaters to the clear ones ( get them on Ebay for around £10 I think ) as the amber ones age an otherwise gorgeous car...........just a thought mate

Also, please drop in and visit the regional section for your area, there are lots of members local to you with the same interests.

Thanks for the welcome. As for the side repeaters I think your right, I will be changing them in the near future. I'll get the silver finished bulbs so I don't get the fried egg look too.

Thanks again
Steve

Nice one Steve..........believe it or not for very little money they make a HUGE difference ( probably the cheapest and best mod that makes the biggest impact )

The Cranberry leather is gorgeous too.

Being an 03 and one of the earlier X types there may be a few issues here n there, all of which will be well documented in the X type "How to" thread.

You've got some reading ahead of you......lol

Now get yourself into the X type section and enjoy the forum. Don't forget to add yourself into the rol lcall thread within the UK regional section too.
