Finally Found My XK8
Good afternoon, All,
Greetings from Bethesda, Maryland.
I've been searching for an XK8 for years and finally latched onto a 2001 white convertible with right at 55,000 miles on the odometer. I'll be replacing the plastic tensioners ASAP as I've had, sadly, the experience, twice, of losing engines on my two XJ8 machines a few years back.
I've been scouring the forum for an answer to the question of how many XK8s were delivered to the US that were white but no luck. Any current information would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
JJBethesda

Hello, John,
Congratulations on your new Jaguar XK8!
55000 miles is just now broken in and loosened up. You should be able to get at Least another 200K from that engine with proper care and feeding, And plastic tensioner replacement!
Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
