Picked up a 98 xk8 (black coupe 110,000 miles) last week. A real kick to drive - love it. Thanks to those that responded to advice on possible engine issues in the main forum. Always wanted a jag, nearly bought an xke back in the day, but was talked out of it because of my uncle's past experience with the same model. Since these older xk8's are very affordable now, decided to the get one as a weekend car.

I wasn't expecting the XK8 to be as good as this from your downbeat description in XK8/XKR section. Despite the lack of service history, it looks a very well cared for example.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User ID button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
