Default Finally joined site!

I've used this site for several years to find answers and finally decided to join up.
I've had Jaguars since I was 18, growing up with a dad that ONLY bought English or Itallian. My first car was my mom's KILLER 83 XJ6. Then a 63 XKE convertable, the same year XKE coupe. Had a few year's down time and drove several Triumphs. After my dad died a few years ago, I decided to come back to Jaguar and have since had several models. 94 XJ, 2002 S-type, 2004 X-type (I know! But I actually really liked that little car!!!)
Now currently have a 2005 XJ8L.
I seem to have to put my stamp on every auto I own and this one is no exception. Changed grille to 09 style, added side vents. This car brings back so many memories of my first 83 XJ. It was my mom's FAV car ever back then. She just passed away last year and would have LOVED this newer model. Maybe that's why I can't part with it. I actually test drove an XF. It was really sporty but hard to give up the feel of my XJ. Plan to trade in a year or so for a new XF.
Hope to add some photo's of my XJ8L.

Hello and welcome to jaguarforums.com. I know that you are anxious to get started and we are anxious to meet you and talk about your car. We have a baseline / criteria that must be met before full access can be granted. Please enjoy the forum and be patient once the baseline has been satisfied full access will be granted. Please continue to post and accept my welcome to the forum.

Oh one other thing you need to put your car details in your signature. I am speaking of the Year, Make & Model. Without it you may not get the input you are looking for.

Please take a moment and read the information provided to you explaining the rules.

Be patient and enjoy the site.
