Default Engine and possibly tranny removal

Finally getting finished stripping my parts car. Last thing to take out will be the engine. The radiator and front clip are already gone so front access is pretty good. It is however sitting in a stone lot and isn't roll able (front hubs gone). I don't have any need for the tranny as it is toasted and mine is a fresh rebuild so don't have any interest in keeping it as I don't have the space but the engine is a runner. Can someone give me the low down for removing it. Seems like the exhaust pipe bolts are easy enough to get at as is the top bolt for the motor mounts. What am I looking at needing to do to sep. the tranny and engine. Oh and if anybody needs anything off a 97 brg and tan interior speak now! Hope to send the shell off by the end of the month or early Oct.

Remove the Throttle Body, the aux heater pump, and hack off all of the pipes into the firewall. You can then get at the 'bell housing'.

Upper divers seat was pretty bad for a coupe, I actually installed the pass seat in mine and am going to have the top cover switched with the pass side from my car so that I can get heated seats. Sorry.

Guessing there are 2 bolts up top, the starter and another bolt down below. What about a flexplate?

The starter should come out with the engine, and the torque converter will come out attached to flex plate, connected to the engine, when it is pulled. I would burn the bolts off the catalysts, and then burn the exhaust off, just before it connects to them...Mike

No torch available but if I cut down after the cats will the whole thing come out if pulled forward? Would like to try to save the cats if I can for spares
