Default Hello fellow Jag Enthusiasts!

My name is Paul and I live in Meriden Connecticut. Just moved to Meriden the beginning of the summer. As I work in Meriden too it is a good deal for my Jag as it has more than 197,000 miles on it now thanks to it previously doing 80 miles round trip for the past 2 years. That commute was rarely fun as it was mostly traffic both ways. Anyway now that I live in Meriden we have a very short trip, and the Jag has its own bay in the new 3 car garage.
My 1998 Vanden Plas come along when my old 96 Vanden Plas with its straight six engine blew its transmission and had been leaving oil puddles anywhere you parked it for more than 10 minutes. But I can't really complain because it had 217,000 miles on it when the tranny blew.
So as a previous owner of my dad's 1973 XJ12 I honestly didn't know what to make of Jaguar building a V8 engine. But truthfully, well done Jaguar!
I just put a new power steering rack in it this past weekend. Got it aligned this morning at the shop and Red, (thats what a call my 98) is like a brand new car. I am now looking to fix a cooling fan problem I have had bypassed for a while. I will post that in the appropriate area of the forum.
Cheers
