Finally signed up !!!!
I acquired a 1997 XK8, as a customer trade-in, about 3 years ago. As a dealership owner, I always steered away from cars that I knew absolutely nothing about. But, at 42,000 miles, someting attracted me. Had an ABS light on (still does) and needed alot of TLC. But, this car intrigued me and was soo much fun to drive. I referred to the Forum for fix it tips. I'm no master mechanic, but can fix alot on the car. The forum has been valuable to me. Aside from a timing chain break ($ 2,800 later) car has been well worth the $ 7,000 I paid for it. It gets a whole 2,000 miles a year of driving. I live in Tucson, Arizona and look forward to participating in the forum. Still looking for the majic fix for ABS and Trac lights. I probably couldn't get much for the car, with the lights on, but where are you going to have so much driving fun for 10 Grand
