First jag first forum
Hi, I'm dowty, 26 yo. I live in Missouri, USA . just recently bought my second car, a 1996 jaguar xj6 vanden plas.
I've always had a thing for these beauties. Had a lot of title problems, and a few mechanical. I'm about to get her on the road this week. Very excited.
I like to learn about my vehicles, I have no automotive schooling, I try to take it 1 problem at a time, so I'm sure I will have a few questions here and there. I'm eager to have some conversations with others that share the same interests.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Hey Dowty Welcome to the Forum, and Nice choice on your first Jag! What part of Missouri are you in. I'm in Northeast Ar. Near Jonesboro. Good Luck with your Kitty. Need help, just ask all the questions you can. Cause the guy's on the Forum have a ton of knowledge, and are very willing to help, so jump in anytime.

Thanks for the welcome . Ive updated what I can at the moment. I'm located towards the edge of Southwest missouri. About 2 hours from k.c.
the main thing that's chopping me right now is that my precious kitty didn't come with a manual of any sort. I'm sure you get it all the time, but I'd love to have some repair/ owner manuals. Not sure where to start though.
