Hi, I'm dowty, 26 yo. I live in Missouri, USA . just recently bought my second car, a 1996 jaguar xj6 vanden plas.
I've always had a thing for these beauties. Had a lot of title problems, and a few mechanical. I'm about to get her on the road this week. Very excited.
I like to learn about my vehicles, I have no automotive schooling, I try to take it 1 problem at a time, so I'm sure I will have a few questions here and there. I'm eager to have some conversations with others that share the same interests.

Thanks for the welcome . Ive updated what I can at the moment. I'm located towards the edge of Southwest missouri. About 2 hours from k.c.
the main thing that's chopping me right now is that my precious kitty didn't come with a manual of any sort. I'm sure you get it all the time, but I'd love to have some repair/ owner manuals. Not sure where to start though.
