Default First time Jag owner

Hello all,

Inked the paperwork last week on an 06 S Type R, Black on Black in pristine condition.

I actually went to the particular dealer to have a look at a Lincoln Navi and while waiting for the keys, I noticed a black beauty at the front of the lot..The wife and I were mulling about and decided to have a look.

The door was unlocked so I climbed in and well...I was hooked!

Loved that interior, those R seats are darn nice, and of course, who doesn't love a car with genuine Birds Eye Maple everywhere as well as leather.

The previous owner really loved this car as its in pristine shape.

So I obtained the carfax from the dealer, did a bunch of research on the S Type here (lurking mode) and then went for a couple extended test drives.

Ok, this is my second experience with a car equipped with a SuperCharger. The first one was the Corrado G60...decent car and I'll leave it at that.

Hopped in the Jag, worked my way to the freeway and then stepped on it on the onramp. HOLY COW this car's got some get up and go!!

Yeah, I bought it.

Hello and welcome to jaguarforums.com.

If you haven’t already you need to put your car details in your signature. I am speaking of the Year, Make & Model. Without it you may not get the input you are looking for. To do this go to, User CP, Edit Signature, Add Vehicle Details and such and Save Your Signature.

Please take a moment and read the information provided to you explaining the rules. Be patient and enjoy the site.

Also, should you have questions related to your vehicle please post it in the section for your model year (MY) car. This way you will reach all the members that are familiar with your MY car.

Welcome aboard. That R is quite a departure from what you were there looking for and a great beast to cut your Jag teeth on.

Ha, ha! You are now hooked. Life will never be quite the same again. Have you down the Jag-around yet? How many times?
