Default First Time Jaguar Owner- 2010 XKR Coupe

So, I'm very excited to own my first ever Jaguar. It's a black 2010 XKR Coupe and I love it--- I don't see any others on the road here in California yet. Anyone know how many Jaguar is planning to build this year for the US market?

Wow, nice choice for a first Jag. I am assuming that this is the 510hp model?

I find the easiest way to post a photo is to type after the URL for each photo. Dont leave any spaces.

just lovely! one of the first 2010 owners to sign up. Be sure to share your ownership experiences with us all. You may not have any issues with yours for awhile (knock on wood) but hope you can still find other areas of the forum to participate in. Welcome!

Thanks, yes, I know I'm still in the honeymoon phase, which is true of any car.. This is a 3-year lease so I'm not on the hook for anything major--

So far the car has been great. Turning a lot of people onto Jaguar with this one.

Hi Go Gadget,

I saw a silver XKR at the dealer I bought from, it was very sharp (not sure if it was Luna Grey or not, but the car looks great in silver/grey too. My past 6-7 vehicles have been silver or grey so I had to mix it up a bit with the black, even though it's hard to keep clean--(I've only had silver/grey and black cars come to think of it)..

I am actually up in the SF Bay area, so quite a bit away from Santa Monica~ Not sure how long you've lived down in SM but you'll love it, it's beautiful there and the weather is excellent---

Cheers~!

Hi Gordon,

I will be driving up to the Bay Area in October, I am going to Laguna Seca to what the Final Race of the Le Mans Series, I am hoping to see this in Action http://www.americanlemans.com/index_news.php?n=12831

After Le Mans I am spending a couple of day in SF, maybe we could catch up and take a few photos of the Cars together. I'll keep you posted.

My last 3 cars have been siver, I couldn't break the habit although I do like Black.
