Default FNG from Utah.

Hi, my name is Justin and I have a serious car problem.

I just picked up an 05 S Type R with 83k on the clock. I seriously love this car, the instant torque of this motor is exactly what I wanted. I normally buy/build turbocharged cars but for my daily driver I wanted somthing with instant throttle response. I live at 4400 ft above sea level so even cars with a quick spooling turbo setup still have some lag up here.

My other project cars right now are: a 04 Volvo v70 R station wagon, a 94 Nissan 300 zx Twin Turbo, and 94 Chevy Corvette that has a built motor, 4L80e trans and a huge turbo.

My favorite thing to do here in Utah is pick on unsuspecting guys in turbo diesel trucks that think just beacuse they put an edge chip in their truck they can now out run super cars. Many of turbo diesel guys have been humbled buy my un assuming wagon.

Welcome to the forum Justin,

I'm an Autoholic myself so I know what you're going through.

Follow this link S-Type / S type R Supercharged V8 - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to find others with S-Type. Plenty of help and advice available.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others give relevant information.

Thank you guys, I have updated my signature.

It apears I am now a true Jaguar onower as now my gas tank is leaking like a sieve. I already found the recall for 2005 gas tanks in All Data, I'm going to inquire with my local jag dealer on what it will take to get this fixed.

Welcome Justin. Get that tank fixed so you can watch the needle drop as the speed goes up...Make yourself at home in the S-Type section.
