Welcome to the forum David,

Good to have you with us.
Take a look in the S Type section. S-Type / S type R Supercharged V8 - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum a lot depends on if you can handle some maintenance yourself or if you will depend on a shop.
If you haven't done so already you should add your car details to your signature to help others to help you.

Welcome to the forum David,

Follow Norri's link to the S-Type section to find what you should check on a potential purchase. Look very closely at service history and make sure everything is working.

Decide on whether you want to tackle maintenance yourself or find a good indy shop. Whichever you choose, all the necessary help and advice is available here.

Graham

Hello norri and GGG
Thank you for all the info, I really appreciate it. I will check the website that you given to me. for real I have no experience at all about mechanic thats why I doubt to buy the jaguar cars but I fall in love with this car, when look the interior online it's like 5 star hotel, looks very comfy. I don't know man i am getting confuse now. the only thing that make me doubt is the maintenance. Because I am not rich, I am afraid I can't handle the car after I buy it.
Once again thank you very much for the info, I hope you you don't mind If I ask you more questions about this car next time.

Regard
David
