Hi guys! I've had my eye on a few Jags for a while, so I thought I'd join before I become part of the club. Right now I'm a Saab guy, own 2 9-3's, a 2002 SE that's my beater, and a 2008 Aero with a tune that's my highway/drag race car. It's a 13 second car and fun to drive, but I've still wanted more power. I've been looking at XF Supercharged and R models online, so I figured I should take a local one for a test drive. I drove a 2012 XF Supercharged, and it was AWESOME. Since I'm still paying off my divorce debt, I won't be able to buy one until next year.

It also doesn't help that a friend's uncle has an 83 XJS he wants to sell... I know they can be a nightmare, but, V12...

Welcome to the forum digitaldrifter,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

The XJS option has to be tempting BUT condition and history are critical.

Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/xf-xfr-x250-44/ to the X250 forum and this one https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/xjs-x27-32/ to the XJS forum for help, advice and information.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

You can also visit the US Midwest Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/us-midwest-39/
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Welcome.

The V12 is NOT a nightmare on its own, it is made that way by previous "experts" that got lost.
