GIJoe introduction
Hello,
I am (clearly) new to this forum. I wanted to send an initial post of acquaintance to fellow Jag admirers.
I currently have two Jaguars:
1984 Jaguar XJS/HE with 74K original miles. It's undergone a drivers level restoration and is dear to my heart... minus a few technical issues, that I'll be asking about..
The second, is a recently acquired 2003 XJ8 Sport, bought from a family friend as they upgraded to a 2005 Vanden Plas...
Aside from that, my user name of GIJOE is true to my identity, my name is Joe and I am in the US Army, presently stationed in Alaska. The Jags are safely tucked away in the lower 48 awaiting my return and not exposed to -40 F winter temps in the Alaskan interior.

Hello, Joe,
I grew up in some of those brutal temperatures in northern Montana.
Good choice to leave your cars somewhere more cat friendly.
