Hi All,
Just bougt a 2004 X-Type 2.5 se, just been serviced and sailed through her m.o.t. All in all she seems to be in great condition and hope to see a few years of enjoyable ownership.

Thanks for the welcome guys, yep originally from Queensland but been living and working in the U.K. for over a decade now. My father has owned Jags since the 80's and now drives a 2002 X-Type 2.5 sport.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys, H20boy it was a road trip over your neck of the woods last July driving from Chicago to San Francisco where we were lucky enough to have a Mustang as our rental that persuaded me to move from a little diesel Fiat to something with a bit more poke.

G'day Skippy or Hello, nice to meet you, welcome to the forum.

Do you prefer the weather over here or in Aussi land?

My number one interests are 2 old Moto Guzzi's and a Royal Enfield so the weather here can be a bit of a bummer a few months a year but with the bikes costing about half the price to run as the Jag I think I will be riding them a bit further into the winter this year.

Yeah Skippy a very original nickname given to me around the day I started working in the U.K.
