The owner is green, the jaguar is black! I have mostly fords, but am familiar with the Lucas parts.... I am a bit nervous as this is also my first fuel injected car. Everything else is 1966 an earlier.

I have been searching the forum here and there seems to be a lot of helpful people!

Have no fears about fuel injection, in many ways it's simpler than carbs - but you can't fix it with a screwdriver + JB weld.

Plenty of help, advice and information here to smooth any issues with your latest vehicle. The guys in the XJS section can take these things down to the last nut and bolt. Some of them have even put them back together again!

As you're familiar with there's no need to worry about EFI. Jaguar certainly didn't.
