Default Greetings

Hello Forum. I recently bought my first Jaguar, a 2001 S-Type 4.0L with 95,000 miles. The car is in great shape but it does have a few issues I wont bother anyone with yet. I am love working on cars and solving problems with them, but I hate to take a "stab in the dark". I bought a Factory Service Manual on eBay and was able to find the Factory Electrical Guide online. I'm in the process of looking through the forums using key word searches for anyone that may have posted my problems before. I previously had a 2000 Volvo XC70 and found forums to be a wealth of valuable information.

I must say, they did fit a lot of stuff into this car, wow.

Welcome aboard, Jerry! Glad you've joined. You'll find a wealth of info here on your S-type. Hope you didn't spend too much on the manual, as I believe JTIS is available in the stickies. Dust off your camera and post up a mugshot in the Off-Topic section "Mugshots" thread, and post a few of your S-type in the S-TYpe section. You are probably already aware, but there was a freshening with MY03 so beware of that when searching out your problems and the fixes. Xmsn is different for 03 and sub vs. earlier models.
