Greetings!
Hello all!
My name is Rod, and I'm a proud owner of a new to me 2011 Jaguar XF. This is a first Jag for me after a string of US made vehicles (Buick, Mercury, Mustang, Lincoln).
I test drove a used 2004 S Type in 2008 before buying a new '08 Mustang. Loved the drive of the S type, but the interior, especially the dash/radio was soooo dated (it had a cassette deck... in 2004 model year... and no CD...).
So gave up on Jags for a while... Until I went to the local Jag dealer to test drive the XK8 they had on the lot, and after realizing that I don't really fit in that car, the salesman pointed me in the direction of the XF. It was love at first sight, and after few months of aggressive negotiations
, a lot of thoughts about reliability and cost of maintenance... I bought the Jaguar XF.
So, now a month into the ownership, I can only say this; The Best Car I've Ever Owned!
Oh, and thank you all for this wonderful and very resourceful forum!
