Welcome....what details do you have on your 95 XJS...Mileage, color, condition, where you bought it and if not a issue how much you paid for it....the reason I ask is I am looking for a 96, and want to see what others are paying for one and in what condition and service history.

Cheers

Purchased car in 2001 with 53,000 miles for less than $20,000. Looking back, I paid too much, oh well..

-- Flamenco Pearl / Tan top
-- Biscuit interior
-- OEM Chrome Starfish Wheels

Car currently has 163,000 miles.

The car was in good shape when I purchased it. I haven't had any real issues with it other than replacing what I would consider "normal" stuff for a car of this age/mileage:
  • replace coolant hoses
  • replace evaporator
  • replace transmission lines
  • replace power steering lines
  • repair oil leak where transmission mounts to engine (seals)
  • replace radiator
  • replace air injection pump
  • replace MAF sensor (I would recommend cleaning this item every oil change)
  • replace O2 sensors
  • replace EGR valve (I would recommend cleaning this item every oil change)
  • replace various relays
  • replace hydraulic piston for convertible top
The car runs great and is bone dry underneath. I have also performed routine and major maintenance at the regularly scheduled intervals since I have owned the vehicle.
