Default Greetings from across the pond

Just purchased my first X type a 06 3 litre premium sport estate with low miles.
Last Jaguar I owned was a '65 S type 3.4, unfortunately wrote it off in '80
Thought I would join your forum for the excellent technical advice.

Would post some pics, but can not see how to

Welcome to the forum,

Not many estates round here, if you want to post a pic from your computer you'll need to click the go advanced button then click the little paper clip chappie at the top of the page and then browse to the location of the pic on your computer.

What part of kent are you in?

Welcome to the site. An Alpina fan, huh? It seems Alpina makes BMWs for people who normally would prefer a Benz. I probably wouldn't own a BMW, but an Alpina, oh yeah.

To the right of "Post Quick Reply" button on at the bottom of the last post.

goto: " Go Advanced"
Then look for "Manage Attachments"
click from there to locate pictures on your PC

After uploading picture(s)
Click "Preview Thread"
you will know see a thumbnail picture, click it, it will expand, left click "Copy"
go back to post and right click in body (where you want the picture) click "Paste"

POOF nice big picture!

Nowhere on my page can I see manage attachments, I have some stupid adverts that seem to be hiding half the smilies that I can not get rid of.

Welcome to the forum.

Nice to see an estate. We don't see them very often.

alpinafan, welcome to the forums. I think you will like it around here. If you have any questions with your X-Type, let me know. If I can't help you out, I'm sure one of the other members will be able to.
