Hello! I'm the happy new owner of a 2000 XK8 convertible. Love it!
I will be needing some help as I would like to upgrade the stereo and speakers in the car. Currently only the tweeters are working...

Congratulations on the XK8.
+1 to the good advice from Norri. His link to Audio/Visual Electronics section will give you information on stereo upgrades and XK8/XKR section will have help and advice on resolving the immediate speaker issue.
Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User ID button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
