Hello people,
Bought a used 2000 Jaguar S-Type 3.0 base model with the sports package a couple of months ago - my first car!
I never planned to buy a Jag in the first place, I was thinking of getting a boring old Toyota/Honda/Hyundai - something 'reliable' in short. But a colleague of mine was looking to offload his used car and since I was in the market for one it seemed like a good choice. After taking it for a spin I knew we were made for each other!
I use it mainly for daily commutes and grocery runs. There are some suspension problems - I keep hearing clunking noises while driving - which keeps me from taking it on long drives.
Hoping to get it fixed once I get some moolah in hand

Looking forward to learning more about my darling from all the advise/suggestions/tips/ etc. that have already been posted here.

I have one of those Adequate Vehicles (Hyundai) as a rainy day car, and I can tell you, the Worst Jag on the planet is better than the best one of those! Good Choice!!
We have a very active S-type section where you can find help to fix Anything on that car! Someone will be along shortly to direct you there.
