Thank you. And I Know from the posts I have been reading newbies are well flaky however I have been working on cars for about 30 years and I must say I dont have a clue as how to fill the tranny as there is not a dip stick that I can find! It makes me feel like a fool. I have found this same thing with the newer VW Jetta. I have been reading and there has to be a better way to fill and check level then using a temp probe and a long hose.

Welcome, you can check out FAQs or post your inquiry about filling up the tranny but as far as I am concerned those are sealed for life

Welcome aboard, you will find lots of info about 'sealed' for life transmissions.

Don't forget to include your model and MY in any questions you may have.

welcome jcoberley! There are ways to get that fluid in and out...we've got some creative owners with some DIY mechanical aptitude. Just drop by your specific model section that applies to your new ride, and browse or search the threads.

Enjoy your stay!
