I'm in my forties and live in Joplin, MO (Missouri) and recently bought the wife a 97 XK8 for Mother's Day..also own a Harley and an RX 8 for daughter..why these vehicles? ..because I love working on things that either have parts I can't find and/or afford for LMBO Actually I like vehicles that are special and have unique design/engineering...it challenges my mechanical abilities and is fun learning.

Thanks for the tip on the regional forums...didn't know about that.
Everyone here seems really gracious..unlike other forums I've seen with other cars..maybe Jaguar just brings out the best in people..or the best people like Jaguars???

 

If you do indeed like "unique design/engineering" you have found the right brand of car in the right era; BF (Before Ford).

It will give you Hours and Hours of "entertainment." LOL

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
