Hello All!

I am new to the group and also a new owner of a 2012 XF. Well... Owner by way of marriage as the car was purchased by my better half. This is our first Jag although I did own a used XJ VERY briefly back around 1997. There were so many things wrong with it when the mechanic checked it out that it needed to be towed back to the dealer that sold it. Even so, I have always loved Jag’s and I look forward to getting my own sometime in the future. I am leaning towards a 2010+ XK but we shall see what the future has in store. I look forward to reading up all of the information in the forums and getting to know all of you guys that share this addiction to such a beautiful make of automobile.



We are located in Jacksonville, Florida and purchased the car from Matheny Imports. The sales team was awesome to work with and let us take our time in choosing the right car for us. No pressure and we felt right at home even though I don’t really fit into what you might consider “wealthy circles”.



Ok – enough with the rambling. The XF has been getting good reviews regarding reliability, etc. Are there any routine problems that I might need to be aware of with the XF? Has anyone had experience with Matheny’s service department? Feel free to post any tidbits of info and I look forward to chatting with you! (Sorry for the long post!)
