This 2007 XK coupe we bought this week is our third Jaguar, having previously owned a new 2000 XK8, and a stately Sovereign as our children grew up, interspersed with a Mercedes station wagon, a Tesla model S, and a Subaru Outback, among others (an FJ Cruiser, a Volvo P1800, a Landcruiser, a BMW 320ix). Cosmetically the XK is a jewel, the engine is young and seems sound, only some peripherals are wonky — the parking alert sensors, the dashboard screen. I’ll be working through the issues as they arise. We live in rural Oregon, USA, west of Portland.
