Greetings from Omaha!!
Hello all - I am *so* pleased to be checking in this evening from Omaha, NE! About an hour ago I traded my 2006 Mercedes-Benz E500 Wagon in for a *pristine* '98 Vanden Plas (with only 27,000 miles on her!). All books and records, bought from the same dealer new by a fastidious older couple. She is *absolutely flawless* and I am really excited to have discovered one that has been so pampered since new. I previously owned a black 2003 XJR R-1 (a car that I feel was nearly perfect in every respect) and have always wanted another X308. Being an all-around car nut, I have been lucky to have owned many (I think 31 at this point) sports cars in my 37 years. I currently also have a 1993.5 Lotus Esprit and a 1989 Porsche 928S4 in the garage. No photos of the VDP yet - I just got her home - but here is my old XJR R1 (a low-res camera shot and at my wedding a few years ago) and my Esprit!
Cheers! I look forward to the forum.
Collin

PS - Im a student at Warwick Business School so I get to spend quite a bit of time in Coventry each year - which is amazing and sad at the same time! The heritage museum is an absolute *must* visit for any Jaguar lover!
