Default Greetings from Orlando, Florida!

New member here, been shopping for an F-Type for the last ~6 months. Ended up with a 2016 R Convertible, single owner, with 9k miles. Just had a chance to wash & wax it this past weekend!

Welcome to the forums DMage,

Good to have you with us. That's an exceptionally low mileage example.

I can see you're already finding your way around the forums so no need for any links from me.

Enjoy the forums and put some miles on the F-Type.

Graham

Hello,
Congratulations on your new F-type Jaguar convertible!
9000 miles on such a car shows me that the Previous Owner didn't really like the car or it would have a lot more miles on it.

Cars need to RUN!! They don't like to Sit in the garage unused and neglected; which neglect is not necessarily lack of maintenance, but just general disuse.

The best thing you can do to make sure your new kitty lasts you a long time is to take it out on a regular basis and BLOW THE CARBON OFF THE VALVES!! As in, Let it Kiss Red Line a time or two with each drive! (Worst thing you can do is to only puddle out to the mailbox and back-unless your mailbox is 25 miles away )
That will keep all passages cleared and the oil stirred up.
Your car will Love you for it.

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
