Greetings! Just bought my first 1997 Jag xj6....116k miles. I think it is an incredible value for the ride quality and luxury. I love to tinker and fix things, so this car is right up my alley. I have come across some things that I need answers about naturally, so I am looking forward to chatting with you.

You will find very friendly and knowledgable people on this forum. There are a number of Jag techs and owners that know their way around Jags pretty well.

Most of us have needed help at one time or another and have found it here. You might look at some of the faq's in the threads that apply to your specific car. If you do not find what you need, just ask. I'm sure someone will have had experience with that problem and will offer help.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User ID button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

So you've got a X300. This is a fine car IMO. Classic look, fine performance, comfortable ride. Hopefully you'll enjoy your new car.
