Hello fellow Jaguar owners! Looking forward to this forum and meeting new friends! I have a black 1997 X-300 Executive model, which is a rare car I guess...having some problems starting it up as it was in storage several years, put a new battery in, power works and lights, etc, but engine will not start. Must be a problem with some hidden switch or button for the immobilizer. Any help/advice would be great, as I finally want to get this car registered, but it needs to run first!

A Black X300, rare indeed.

I suggest a re-ask in the X300 Tech Section, where the answer will be.

A lay up of only a few weeks should not have caused anything to go hissy.

Imobiliser not playing games is probably a good suggestion.
