Greetings From Sweden!
Hi everyone!
First of all i would like to thank everyone that contributes to the fantastic content on this site! I have more than once over the past few years found awnsers to all sorts of technical issues i have come accross.
Since i always been secretly in love with the Jaguars, i a few years ago cracked and bought myself my first Jaguar, a beautiful 1998 Daimler 4.0, black with black leather interior and the two seat arrengement in the back.
It has been a few bumps on the road to bring it mechanically to a state i am happy with, but nowdays it works like a charm. My Jag is by far the most solid car i have ever driven, its like it has been casted in one piece!
..Well, since this thread is abbout introducing my self...
I am born and bred in Sweden and have through my whole life been interested in and have been tinkering with machines. After school i did my military in the Swedish airforce on the Mighty SAAB AJ 37 Viggen (The Thunderbolt) witch was exellent fun.. so it was not very surpricing that i ended up as an licenced Aircraft engineer on the SAAB2000, SAAB340, Emreaeer 145/135, Gulfstream G550 and the Bombardier Global 6000.
After more than 30 years in service with creative problemsolving, troubleshooting and any type of mechanical work i feel quite comfortable dealing with any type of problem my Jaguar can throw at me.
Hopefully i am going to be able to, in a good way, share my experiences with everynoe here :-)
/E

Welcome to the forum Einhead,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
I can see you've already found your way to the X308 forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
You can also visit the Europe Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/europe-42/ to find other members in your region.
Enjoy the forums.
