Default Happy but concerned

Hi all. I just purchased my first Jag. It is a 2006 XJ8 l. Almost immediately after purchasing I was greeted with the "Cruise not available" message. I looked up a probable cause on this forum and I resolved the issue, thanks, guys. I soon realized that the front door speakers were not working so I searched for possible remedies and cures and found some good ideas and places to start, thanks again.

It's becoming very apparent that this thing will require a lot of hands-on to keep it working properly. I'm looking forward to lending my 2 cents with help to all.
Roger

Welcome to the forum Roger,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

I can see you've already found your way to the X350 forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham

Welcome.

Yep, that "catch up" can be a mongrel, no matter how well the PO claims to have cared for it.

BUT

Once caught up, repeat in 10 years.

Hello, Roger,
Congratulations on your new Jaguar!
Don't let those little things concern you unduly; the car is testing you to know if you're worthy of ownership. So far you seem to be up to the challenge. LOL

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
