Default Happy To Join!

Hello!

New member as of today. But I purchased my 2004 XKR a year ago and have made ample use of the forum since. Gotten a lot of direction on mechanical issues (which happily have been few and minor, knock on wood). And I have discovered a new best friend, Steve from SB Wheels, thanks to the forum.

Seemed it was time to actually join the group. I will try to lend my small but growing knowledge as appropriate. And I will reach out from time to time for wisdom and advice (right now I am pulling my hair out trying to figure out how to repowder coat my Detroit wheels or buy some spares too).

Thanks to all for your help in the past and in the future.

Oh, and forgive my avatar photo. Don't know why it posted upside down from my iPad. I know even less about computer voodoo than Jaguars. May delete it soon rather than annoy everyone.

Dave

Welcome to the forum Dave,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

You've already found your way to the XK8/XKR forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the US Central Region forum by following this link US Central - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham,

Thank you for your introduction. You obviously have a big job moderating the site. Thanks for your dedication.

Also impressed that you flipped my photo right-side-up!

Hello, Dave,
Most of us here started out not knowing much about Jaguars, me included.
As time goes on though, as you've mentioned, our knowledge has grown to that we can now help others. That's what this place is all about!

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
