Default Hello

Long time lurker, first time poster. Am 66. Had two previous Jags. Always loved the styling. Got an S-type now. Always liked the looks and comments from people when I pull in, somewhere. Who else gets those "whoah dude, nice ride!" comments?

Am one of those who believe an automobile is a capital investment and should be treated at least as well as one expects it to treat you. Have a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee with 180k miles that runs like the day it was born. My Jag is a 2004 with 102k miles and runs like a top, thanks to this forum.

When a youngster, I used to tweak and drive Austin Healy Sprites and maybe a Triumpth Spitfire or two for my friends. Brit car fan. Hate Lucas, but know how to deal with it. Am a decent shade-tree, but don't have facilities here and now; just determination.

Ciao.
