hi all,

Joining as I have just finally done what I have been threatening to do for 25 years and bought myself a Jag.
25 years ago I was doing my apprenticeship (they where called YTS then!) at a jag dealer in Leeds, the days of the XJ40 and XJS - ever since then I have wanted one.
So my new toy is a 2002 S-type 3.0 SE (must be one of the first of the X202 2002.25 MY). It's not without its gremlins with a couple of electrical niggles and it appears the original buyer specified it with full SatNav but no CD capability! Must of made sense to him but who has any cassettes these days?




Its not purple, its silver. That's Iphone 6 camera quality for you!

Anyways - off to search the forum now for why one of my doors cant be unlocked manually from the inside.....

Follow Norri's link in post #3 to the S-Type forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
