Hello
Hi joined late last year and love all the articals in the forum.
My current Jag is a 1998 XJ8 with just 36000 miles and in very good condition.
(Was in long term storage)
Bought last year with a sagging head lining. New one easily fitted now. Also had an incorrect battery which I've now replaced. Previously to the XJ8 I had a lovely Damilar Sovereign with LPG fitted, followed by a not so good Jag xj6 and recently a XF.
The XF was nice but just looked like many other modern cars and I much prefer the shape of all the older models. I live in North Northumberland, retyred so can enjoy all the good quiet scenic roads on my door step. Life in a Jag is great grace space pace

A late 'welcome' to the forums geobow,
Good to hear you have been finding interesting information here. I agree with you about the modern Jaguars. They have lost the marque identity of the earlier models.
Must get back up to beautiful Northumberland myself in the near future. I have over two hundred years of ancestors buried at Holy Island church. Just a visit - not planning on joining them in the near future.
