Hi everyone.
Just bought an 97 XK8 and very pleased with it so far.It's my first big car so on a learning curve already as it runs roughly when hot under hardish acceleration.Beautiful shape though.Well chuffed.

Methinks I'm going to need plenty of that ale after having a first good look at the engine and the corrosion underneath.Cured the first problem,or the symptons at least, the problem being an intermittent ABS light and traction control failure message,with some loud creaks and groans from I presumed dry suspension/steering joints/linkages, with a thorough spray of lithium grease.I noticed the abs light traction message coming on coincided with a creak.
