Long Term Plans on a F-Type S Coupe 6MT
Hey Jag forum.
Currently very happy with my car, a 2011 Infiniti G37S Sedan 6MT, becoming more modified to my tastes every year. I bought it nearly new with less than 4000 miles, and have every intention to own it for 9 to 10 years. Barely drive the thing, so that's a likely goal.
When the F-Type Coupe S was released in the US, I took the car for a fantastic test-drive, and fell in love with the little Jag like no car ever before. Granted, it was an automatic, so that was kind of a hard-stop. And it was 2x more $$$ that I could ever rationalize for a hobby car. But then Jag came out with a 6MT, and I got to thinking... maybe a used F-Type is in my future?
So the plan is to read up on the F-Type, and watch the market over the next few years. I expect to be a mostly silent lurker, with a few questions here and there to remain active.
There is an artistic quality to the F-Type that draws me in like few cars do. And the driving experience is everything I'm trying to turn my G into, and will never quite reach. Until the opportunity presents a few years away, I remain a patient old man with long term plans.
Anyway... hello. And here's my current hobby:
