Default Hello

Hi everyone, I recently bought a Jaguar 2002 s type V6 with 62k miles.
The car is in mint condition and worked very well until I had to change the fuel pump. Coincidence or not, after that I had a problem with my AC/Heater.

It looks like the AC/heater is working but there is no flow of air, either hot or cold, none. I took it to my local mechanic. He put the computer into my car and explained to me that the problem was the CCM. Apparently the module was not receiving the signal to work the AC/heater. He suggested me to change the part and to go the dealer.

Thanks to these type of forums I found a place that can repair/rebuilt module for a very inexpensive cost (compared to dealers). I still not sure if the problem is the CCM or the DCC valve. I would like to change first the DCCV and then, if it doesn't work, send my module to repair.

Anyone has a good suggestion? Also, the switch light for the heating seats turn red but the seats doesn't get warm(hot). Is there anything related? It is the same module that control the temperature. If anyone can help me with these two situations it is very welcomed.

Liz.

Welcome to the forum,

Definately change the valve first, that is what takes out the module.

I took my Jags to another mechanic. The problem was the blower motor resistor and I found the part on ebay for only 60 dollars. He changed the resistor and the AC/heater is working fine. Fortunately it wasn't the module or the DCC. I have one small problem now....AC/heater is working perfectly but when pushing the buttons no lights are on and no information is displayed in the AC screen (e.g. external temperature). It seems to be something easy. Anyone?
