Hello all
Hey everyone,
Will keep this short and snappy..
I'm a 28 (almost 29) happy chappy living in the Midlands
Unfortunately I lost my dad in November 2021, and he left behind his beloved S-type.
Now this has been sat around since then and we've had constant knocks at the door from people insulting my mum with small offers.
Only up until recent I've decided to take the plunge and take it under my wing giving it the same love and care my dad did.
I've signed up to these forums as I really have no idea what I've let myself in for and have some worries about if I've made a mistake.
Affordability isn't an issue in my current situation it's just the raw power of the car I'm worried about.
I hope I've past the first members post hoops but if there's anything anyone wants to know about me or the car give me a shout :-)
Thanks,
Jake

Hello, Jake,
I'm so sorry you have lost your dad. That often happens in this situation, the Vultures start circling to pick off any valuables while the family is still in grief. Shameful Conduct!
Good Job taking control of his beloved S-type. You'll find all the help you can use over in our S-type section where Graham has directed you.
Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.

Thank you everyone.
First things first is new tires, maybe brake pads and get it in for its MOT. After that I'll run the car for a service then will start looking at some fun work I can start on it :-)
