Welcome to the forum Liberoking,

I can see you've found the X-Type section ( X-Type - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum ). That's the place for your model-specific tech questions. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top there is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

If you're looking to upgrade to a V8, the 'HOW TO' at the top of each model tech section will help you identify any weaknesses and some also have buyers guides.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You may also like to visit the Australia / New Zealand Region section by following this link Australia / New Zealand - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to find other members in your part of the World.

Enjoy the forum.

Graham
