I have been a member here for a few months but haven't posted. I am currently the proud owner of a 2001 VDP Platinum with Ivory interior and based on the joy I have received from it I am taking delivery tomorrow of a 2005 VDP. I've enjoyed reading the many posts and look forward to participating here for many years to come.

Two months to your first post - so there's no need to give you a link to the XJ sections!

Let's see some of the two VDP's.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User ID button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

And I have definitely been devouring the XJ forums. Here's a pic of what the 05 is replacing. Never thought I would part with it but.....

 

Both VDP's look great and I can see why you regret the Benz going.

The SL is a 91 with 105k miles. Wonderful car for the spring and fall. It will be missed but after a day with the 05 I believe the adjustment will not be too difficult.
