Hello everyone. I'm new to Jaguar ownership and wanted to introduce myself here. I'm in Volusia County on Florida's east coast. I've always admired Jaguars as a kid and have driven two, an XJS on the street and a full race prep XJS Series I on the track, prior to my recent purchase. As my wife and I both have large trucks, hers a Ford Expedition and mine a Ford Excursion, we decided to sell hers and pick up a nice sedan. We were searching German sedans (7 series BMWs and S series Mercedes) when I saw an XJ8 on the street and the light bulb came on. I showed my wife a few images of the XJ8 and that sealed it. We then focused on color preferences and she really loved the platinum silver with the charcoal leather interior. I then went to work finding one with the right mileage and history, found her and brought her home. We call her Nigella.

In addition to Nigella and the Excursion, we have several Porsches. I raced 924S and 944 models for several years and currently drive an LT1 equipped 1986 944 turbo model. I'm building a 1988 924S M030 that will be equipped with an LS6 motor. I usually do keep them pure however the 1986 was purchased with the conversion done already and the 1988 had a toasted motor and seemed perfect for this transplant. My other one is a restored 1973 911S Targa that will shortly be up for sale to fund a few other projects.
