Default Hello Everyone! :)

Hello from Ontario, Canada.

I will FINALLY be getting another Jag since moving to Canada from the UK in 2003. I gave up my beloved XJ6 when I moved.

Next week, I will get either a 1995 or 1998 XJR. I have a choice from the 2. Any insight or recommendations you may have will be welcome.

The '98 has an electrical issue, no brake lights, so may be willing to take a shot on fixing that.

Welcome to the forum,

I'm sure it will be nice to get back in a Jag.

The '95 will probably be the better car, with its 6-cylinder engine, all other things being equal. The V8 was a bit of a PIA in 1998, with lots of really serious issues until Ford finally sorted them out.

Thanks, from what I have read, I was leaning to the '95 with the straight six.

Wednesday is the big day...Hopefully

Welcome to the forum. Do some searching but I'm sure I've read some threads about that SC 6 being one of the best engines ever in a Jag.

Got the 1995 XJR. See picture.

She is poorly however, discovered a leak in a hose just under the intake manifold. Coolant will actually squirt out at around 2000 rpm.

It's a thick hose, maybe around 2 inches. ANy idea's?
