Welcome to the forum T, for car problems we have the Tech sections, for other problems we have the Off Topic section

Might be an idea to at least tell us about your car.

welcome to the board Theresa, good to have you here.

Please give us a little more info......?

You might find the off topic good for fun, maybe check out the mug shot thread and add yours?

Some really good guys and great techs, top vendors offering good pricing levels and great service, and more to come....all good

In the meantime I've upgraded you manually to full forum access so you can better view the site

Thank you everybody for that warm welcome, and thank you Jim for upgrading me.
My car is an S-Type 2.8 diesel sport, born in April 2006. It is an airforce blue/greycolour with beige leather interior.
In reply to Stoffer I live on the very South Coast in a little town called Selsey which is about half an hour's drive from Portsmouth.
I will post my dilemma in the Tech section I think and see if anyone has had the same problem.
Cheers guys!

Theresa, are you sure its not a 2.7d sport?
I stand to be corrected but don't think they made a 2.8 diesel

Anyhow, good luck with your tech question and hope we can help

Hey Jim, yes it is a 2.7 and oh boy does the poor lady seem to have a problem, if you catch it in the S Type section.

(you can tell that I have just come in from decapitating daisies)

Thought maybe it was a sepcial one off Rich....lol and I was being polite

I did read about her issues on the DPF poor soul........sounds a real nightmare and there have been a few on the VW Audi site too. Fingers crossed they reach some sort of compromise

Welcome to the forum Theresa,

I read your post in the S section, I have read other similar stories in the past, I can only wish you good luck in your legal struggle.
