Hi folks! My name is Dan Friend, and I just purchased a 1995 XJ Vanden Plas with 87,000 miles that looks like new. I certainly hope mechanically it's as nice as it looks, but I purchased it after decades of longing for an XJ and a review of all the pros and cons of the various models. I'm glad to have chosen the last of the 6 cylinders. I am a retired teacher in DeLand, Florida; past President and co-founder of the Central Florida Triumph Register in Orlando, and a history buff now involved with several non-profit historical projects. I didn't know tugboats had an enthusiast following so i did check out US Army ST Tugboat History & the DeLand Army Tugboat Preservation Group,Inc - Home If they are 'small tugboats' then their big brothers must be enormous.
