Thanks I wish my eclipse had a V8f it literally feels like your going to take off..Glad to be here!But my hood wont open!

Welcome to the forum. That's awkward, with two other people try pushing down on the rear corners of the hood whilst simultaneously pulling the release.

I tried that now I am one step from a crowbar.I am attempting to go through the front grille and unscrew the hinges but the question is will that work?so I can pop the passenger side with a screwdriver I am hoping that works..I am out of ideas I really dont want to do any damage pls help

Do not attack it with a crowbar 'just yet'!!!! (the hood opens away from the windshield, one catch on each side near the window)

For tech help make your post in the XJR section, you will get more hits, from the guys in the know.

i know it opens from the window lol...only the driver side opens it seems the passenger side is stuck i am sure it is the cable ...the latch does feels weak..so what do I do?
